The world watched as reality TV star, former president and convicted felon, Donald ‘the Orange One’ Trump went toe to toe with former prosecutor turned Vice-president ‘Cackling Kamala’ Harris, a young up-and-comer some have nastily labelled a mere diversity hire.
Turns out she packs a mean punch.
The ageing champ entered the ring looking hesitant, especially after Crazy Kamala bounced out of her corner and hit him with a surprise 1–2 combo in the form of a good-natured handshake and introduction. Taken by surprise, Don the Con could only retaliate with ‘Nice to see you, have fun’, apparently mistaking the debate for another celebrity party he was hosting.
Well, fun she certainly had folks.
Both fighters scored punches early with some carefully-prepared straw man attacks, and there were red herrings aplenty as they expertly ducked and weaved about the ring avoiding questions from the umpires.
